Bill is the founding member and managing executive of GGO and focuses on business development, market economics and GGO growth. He continues to manage a practice that specializes in scope reductions, cost shifting and third party fee sharing for large or unwieldy productions.
Prior to starting GGO, Bill was VP of Professional Services at Attenex, a litigation support technology firm formerly owned by Preston Gates and Ellis. Bill has spent over 20 years in the fields of computer forensics, managed security, system hardening and legal information services. He acquired a wealth of forensics, Internet and IT systems experience working for AT&T Easylink in Hong Kong, Equant in London, BBN Technologies/GTE in Boston, a specialty ISP in Seattle, and most recently a Security and Forensics consulting firm that was absorbed into EDS. In the 1980′s, Bill worked as a technology commercialization consultant for a variety of commercial and government agencies including LEXIS/NEXIS, the NSF, NASA, the Ohio Supercomputer Center, and the US Air Force. Bill specializes in commercial planning and the sensible and profitable integration of technology into customer business models.
Bill holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University and an MBA from Ohio State University. He served as a nuclear submarine officer in the U.S. Navy for 5 years where he held TS/SIOP/ESI clearances and managed the Personal Reliability Program (PRP) for his crew.
