Northwest Immigrant Rights Project
GGO is proud to support NWIRP, the Northwest Immigrant Rights Project. NWIRP is a nonprofit immigrant advocacy group, based in Seattle, WA. The primary mission of NWIRP is to promote justice for low-income immigrants by pursuing and defending their legal status. NWIRP focuses on providing direct legal service by enlisting the assistance of pro bono attorneys to advise and represent immigrants. Lynne Forristal, an attorney with GGO, has provided countless hours assisting her NWIRP clients in Cancellation of Removal cases and Asylum applications. In her many cases, GGO has generously allowed her unlimited time to devote to her cases, as well as administrative support and compensation for all direct expenses incurred in defense of her clients, such as postage and copying costs.
